2025 Bamboo Craft Product Development Competition Award-winning Works Exhibition (2025竹藝產品開發競賽得獎作品展)

The Bamboo Craft Product Development Competition held by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Nantou County Government (南投縣政府文化局) is an annual event that gathers the fruits of labor from bamboo craft creators across the country. Judges conduct a rigorous comprehensive evaluation from four major aspects: creative techniques, creative features, overall aesthetics, and economic benefits, to select awards such as the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Honorable Mention, and Selected Works. Through this competition, it is hoped to promote the modern aesthetics of bamboo craft and the value of artistic living, endow traditional bamboo craft techniques with modern creative design elements, attract more talents to invest in R&D and innovation, and stimulate the sustainable development of the bamboo craft industry.
There were a total of 66 entries this year, evaluated by experts from bamboo craft and design academia and outstanding creators invited by the Cultural Affairs Bureau. Results: 1 Grand Prize winner for the work "Six-Tone Bamboo Pipe Percussion Organ" (六音竹管拍筒琴) created by Zhang Wen-de, Liu Zong-yue, and Lin Cong-qi; 2 Excellence Awards for "Thousand-Gold (Sinew) Bag" (千金(筋)包) by Li Wen-zhong and "Obsidian Glazed Gold" (黑曜鎏金) by Zhang Sai-rong; 3 Honorable Mentions for "Colorful Flower Cage" (斑斕華籠) by Li Wen-zhong, "Ding" (鼎) by Lin Qun-han and Lin Cong-qi, and "Upstream Floor Lamp" (立燈上游) by Wang Kai-he. Other selected works totaled 54.
