2026 Confucius Temple (孔廟) Six Arts Ink Wash Flower and Bird Painting Class Spring Exhibition - Hanmo Chunhua (翰墨春華)
The Confucius Temple Six Arts Study Class has been operating for nearly twenty years. In this historic park, the learning atmosphere is quiet and profound. Two art instructors specializing in fine-brush (gongbi) flower and bird painting—Chang Li-chu (張麗珠) and Chen Li-ling (陳麗玲)—lead students into the world of ink wash painting with their delicate strokes and rich teaching experience. Learning is not just about honing skills but also a dialogue with the soul, allowing one to find themselves at the tip of the brush and peace in the shades of ink. Beyond creation, students extend this aesthetic sense to their living spaces, injecting an artistic atmosphere into daily life.
The theme of this exhibition is "Hanmo Chunhua" (翰墨春華). Each work is like poetry or a dream, depicting the vitality of all things as winter ends and spring returns. Flowers and birds dance lightly in the paintings, creating an elegant and moving scene. Visitors strolling through the Confucius Temple can not only feel the beauty of the ancient architecture but also be touched by these ink wash works, feeling the artistic soul quietly flowing through the grounds.
