2026 "Giving with Art and Love - Moving Hearts with Charity" Special Art Exhibition and Charity Event

This special exhibition brings together creations from members of various local art groups and art workers. A total of 15 local art associations participated, collecting 384 exquisite works, with a scale greater than ever before, showcasing Miaoli's abundant artistic energy. During the event, members of the public who donate NT$2,000 to charity can receive one original work by an artist. All raised funds will be donated in full to seven social welfare institutions in the county, including Miaoli County Private Yu-An Children's Home, Holy Family Center for Special Education, Hua-Yen Center for the Intellectually Disabled, Guang-Ai Children's Home, Ming-De Children's Home, Genesis Social Welfare Foundation for the Vegetative, and Xin-Miao Children's Home, to assist in caring for disadvantaged groups.
In addition, this year specifically features a charity auction of works by masters, with 9 selected collectible works. Renowned artists such as Wang Chia-pin, Chou Mei-chun, Lin Pin-sheng, Lin Chia-tung, Huang Kuang-nan, and Yeh Hsiu-hung participated. Through on-site bidding, art lovers can support public welfare while collecting authentic works by masters, creating a virtuous cycle of art and charity.
The donation period for 2026 is from February 6 (Friday) to March 19 (Thursday). Donations can be made via postal transfer to the accounts of each institution, or in person at the social welfare institutions and the Performing Arts Section of the Miaoli County Government Cultural and Tourism Bureau. The ownership of the related art works will be determined by a public draw during the closing ceremony on March 28 (Saturday).
