Workshops Now On
2026 Living Craft Center (生活工藝館) "Craft Experience Teaching Workshop" Craft Promotion Course: Forged Copper Cups
Metal forging is a craft of dialogue between hands, tools, and metal.
We start from a flat metal plate, through the rhythm of the hammer and the guidance of the anvil, slowly tapping and shaping, transforming the metal into containers and works with thickness and warmth.
The course is not just about learning techniques, but also a process of cultivating hand-feel and observation. Every hammer strike and every angle adjustment is an exercise in building a relationship with the material.
We believe that while learning forging, you are also learning how to focus, how to listen, and how to know yourself through creation.
This is a course suitable for beginners and friends who want to deeply explore the world of metalworking.
No art background required, just a pair of willing hands and a little curiosity about metal, and you can embark on this creative journey of tapping out shapes and heart.
