2026 Living Craft Center (生活工藝館) "Craft Experience Workshop" (工藝體驗教學坊) Craft Promotion Course: Bark Art (樹藝) Forest Spirit Dog DIY Workshop - When Technology Meets the Translation of Natural Life (Two-day Camp)

Date: 2026-03-14 — 2026-03-15 Organizer: (中華民國)李永謨
The "Craft Experience Workshop" provides teaching, brand management, and creation opportunities for those aspiring to enter the craft industry. With experiential teaching as its core, supplemented by sales and creation, resident artists plan craft experiences and study courses. Through related educational activities, the public is encouraged to experience the beauty of crafts through hands-on practice.
To promote craft education among children and facilitate the cross-disciplinary integration of technology and natural materials, the Bark Art Workshop (樹藝工坊) is holding the "Bark Art Forest Spirit Dog DIY Workshop." Through graphical programming and practice-oriented courses, children are guided to create their own walking and interactive forest spirit dogs. In the process of hands-on creation, they experience the fun of technological creation and develop logical thinking and creativity.
This activity combines the spirit of University Social Responsibility (USR), with the Office of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility and the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of National Formosa University (國立虎尾科技大學) participating in curriculum planning and teaching support. It also collaborates with Shanghu Cloud and the Yunlin Mansion Children's Museum to create a learning experience with educational, creative, and public value.
The core of the activity is "Craft as the foundation, Technology as the tool, and Education as the bridge." Through the characteristics of the Bark Art Workshop, children can engage with technology in a natural and craft environment, experience cross-disciplinary learning, and cultivate the innovative abilities and sustainable thinking needed for the future.
