2026 Living Craft Center (生活工藝館) "Craft Experience Workshop" (工藝體驗教學坊) Craft Promotion Course: Guqin (古琴) Lianzhu-style (連珠式) Qin Making (斲琴) [Weekend Class]
The "Craft Experience Workshop" provides teaching, brand management, and creation opportunities for those aspiring to enter the craft industry. With experiential teaching as its core, supplemented by sales and creation, resident artists plan craft experiences and study courses. Through related educational activities, the public is encouraged to experience the beauty of crafts through hands-on practice.
Guqin (古琴) Lianzhu-style Qin Making [Weekend Class]
By passing on traditional crafts and technical education, this course promotes the spiritual and cultural essence of traditional Guqin lacquer art (髹漆). It offers those interested in lacquer art the chance to move from appreciation to hands-on practice, gaining an understanding of the Guqin—an ancient instrument with 3,000 years of history in Chinese culture. The course expects to train 8 "seed" students, allowing the promotion of Guqin lacquer art to take root and be passed down. It aims to enhance humanistic cultivation and the aesthetics of vocal music, achieving the goal of "making life artistic and art lifelike."
