2026 Natural Lacquer (天然漆) Basic Workshop — Spring Class

This course will lead students to learn cloth-pasting and ash-base engineering, building an understanding of the structure of lacquerware, while teaching variable coating techniques to understand the layers and texture changes of the lacquer surface. In practice, the teacher will explain the theoretical knowledge related to each process one by one, improving the students' understanding and usage concepts of lacquer materials, and encouraging thinking about application from the essence of the material. The course also covers the introduction of tool usage, combining theory and practice to help students master the basic techniques of lacquer art and lay a foundation for further learning.
