The Southeast fights the Northwest. At the Southeast Heroes Hall (東南英雄館) of the Southeast Sect (東南派), all righteous people can gather together. In the play, the soul characters, the hero Old Herbalist (百草翁) and his son Little Old Herbalist Jin Guang-er (小百草翁金光兒), face the evil Northwest Sect (西北派) high-level leader King of the Seven-Hole Poison Masters (七孔毒師王), who wants to absorb more military resources. He uses various ever-changing drugs to lure common people into consuming them and becoming puppets of the evil forces. Therefore, the Old Herbalist (百草翁) father and son advance to the dangerous front line to rescue the people controlled by the evil forces. While the King of the Seven-Hole Poison Masters (七孔毒師王) of the evil Northwest Sect (西北派) is carrying out his next plan, the Old Herbalist (百草翁) father and son unite with heroic knights and the strength of the people to ultimately defeat the King of the Seven-Hole Poison Masters (七孔毒師王).
