Atayal (泰雅) Aboriginal Cultural and Industrial Park "Resonance of Original Sounds (原聲迴響)" Weekend Arts and Culture Performance: Chu-Tai (初太) Band Performance
In order to enrich the artistic and cultural essence of the two Aboriginal cultural museums and attract public attention to the diversity of Aboriginal culture, while also driving the development of the tourism and leisure industry, the Miaoli County (苗栗縣) Government has meticulously planned the "Resonance of Original Sounds (原聲迴響)" Weekend Arts and Culture Performance series.
This year's performance is themed "Resonance of Original Sounds (原聲迴響)". "Original Sound" represents the unique dances, music, and songs of the indigenous peoples that carry historical culture, while "Resonance" carries the expectation of promoting indigenous culture through arts and culture performances to evoke a response. The use of the word "Hui (迴)" (Return) also encompasses the meanings of rotation and circulation, symbolizing the continuation and heritage of indigenous music, dance, songs, and art.
The weekend arts and culture performances at the Atayal Museum (泰雅文物館) in Taian Township (泰安鄉) will run from February 7 to December 26, 2026, featuring performances by indigenous groups or bands. One performance will be held every Saturday starting at 2:20 PM, for a total of 46 sessions. Additionally, from February 8 to December 27, street performers will perform one session starting at 10:00 AM on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, totaling 24 sessions. From February 17 (the 1st day of the 1st lunar month) to February 22 (the 6th day of the 1st lunar month), one group performance will be scheduled each morning and afternoon daily, for a total of 80 sessions throughout the entire event.
