2. Farming, Fishing, and Hunting Tools Area: Our country has always been an agricultural nation, and early ancestors' lives revolved around farming. Many tools were required, such as ox yokes, ox muzzles, harrows, dustpans, bamboo hats, and tortoise-shell hats used for plowing. Bamboo baskets for harvesting tea and tea roasting cages were mostly made of bamboo, especially bamboo weaving. Additionally, fishing was a livelihood in agricultural society. This area also displays fish traps (ko-zai), fish fry baskets, shrimp traps, frog cages, and bamboo rafts, all made of bamboo, including life-saving tubes.
3. Bamboo Carving Area: Bamboo carving is divided into intaglio, relief, high relief, openwork, and three-dimensional carving. This area displays bamboo carving tools and works by famous masters such as Yan Zheng-sen, Shi Hui-min, and Lu Shi-zhen.
4. Bamboo Weaving Area: Bamboo weaving primarily uses Makino bamboo and Thorny bamboo, followed by Moso bamboo and Ma bamboo. The process involves five steps: material selection, splitting into strips/slices, weaving, detailing, and coloring/finishing. This area displays exquisite works by Chiu Chin-tuan, Yeh Pao-lien, Huang Ru-chuang, Lin Hsiu-feng, and Li Hung-wei.
5. Modern Bamboo Craft Area: Besides practicality, aesthetic design is a focus. The area displays bamboo handbags by Wu Mei-chu and Wu Liu-yan, whose texture and value rival LV bags. Additionally, Peng Ya-ling's orchid lacquer cups and Lin Chien-cheng's dance shadow lighting fixtures possess modern beauty and artistic style.
6. Wedding, Festivals, and Bamboo House Construction Area: Displays include wedding and festival tools, bamboo rafts, bamboo bridges, and other transportation. Inside the bamboo house, early Taiwanese furniture for kitchens, studies, living rooms, and bedrooms is displayed.
7. Audiovisual Resources and Interactive Experience Area: Multimedia displays related to bamboo arts, bamboo instruments, bamboo pianos, and interactive facilities like 'Contentment Brings Happiness' for the public to experience.
