A sudden serious illness leads Thibaut to discover he was adopted and that he has a biological brother, Jimmy. Jimmy, adopted by an ordinary family, works in a school cafeteria, while Thibaut, adopted by a wealthy family, has a completely different growth path. Thibaut, immersed in classical music, is a world-renowned conductor; Jimmy, who plays in a miners' band, is just an amateur musician who loves the trombone.
