Black Seeds (黑種籽)'s World in Paintings

Black Seeds has been keeping a diary with music every year, and it is now entering its 19th year!



Since its establishment, the Black Seeds Clarinet Ensemble (黑種籽單簧管合奏團) has focused on promoting music, dedicated not only to the promotion of clarinet music but also to music public welfare services in communities and campuses. Through professional musical performances and approachable music introductions during performances, serious classical music is introduced to more music lovers in a down-to-earth manner, while also providing more performance stages for young musicians. It not only achieves the purpose of promoting music but also showcases the strength of Taiwanese clarinetists; a different Black Seeds has begun to sprout.



The theme of this concert is "Black Seeds Takes You to See Paintings." Through the rich instrumental colors of the Black Seeds Clarinet Ensemble and classic works such as "Pictures at an Exhibition" and "Season of Falling Leaves," music leads the audience to appreciate world-famous masterpieces. At the same time, the clarinet melodies allow the audience to feel various changes in nature. In addition, we have invited composer Chen Chang-an (陳昶安), who was nominated for the Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, to create a brand-new work specifically for this concert. We look forward to the audience joining Black Seeds in sparking their imagination and seeing more rich and exciting scenes through music.



In 2026, we continue to cultivate music and constantly improve ourselves, hoping that every seed can shine like a star and that the seeds of music can grow strong in every audience member's heart.
