The 2026 Miaoli Hakka Tung Blossom Wedding (2026苗栗客家桐花婚禮) will open for online registration starting March 2nd at 10:00 AM, limited to 36 couples (20 for the Miaoli group and 16 for the National group), until full.
Miaoli County Government combines tourism with Hakka (客庄) culture to continue hosting the Tung Blossom Wedding. Now in its 21st year, the event has helped 1,430 couples tie the knot under the tung blossoms, becoming a landmark group wedding event in the country. This year's theme is 'Blossoming Love Story' (幸福桐話), symbolizing couples starting a new chapter of life together under the blessings of tung blossoms.
The county government has prepared 'Six Auspicious Gifts' worth 24,513 TWD for the couples, including wedding rings, gift boxes, a wedding rice cooker, Gold Medal Beer and wedding rice, handmade silk quilts, and weekday double-room vouchers for West Lake Resort (including Rail Bike packages), symbolizing the beautiful meaning of 'You are my life.'
