Brilliant Korngold – Korngold Chamber Music (璀璨．康戈爾德－康戈爾德室內樂)
This concert features two important chamber music works by Korngold (康戈爾德), performed by violinists Ou Chih-Yu (歐之瑀) and Weng Yu-Ting (翁鈺婷), cellist Lu Chao-Lun (呂超倫), and pianist Yang Chien-Ying (楊千瑩). The repertoire includes Korngold's "Piano Trio, Op. 1," published at the age of 13, which showcases the child prodigy's mature technique; and the "Suite, Op. 23" for piano left hand and strings, originally written for pianist Paul Wittgenstein (保羅‧維根斯坦), who lost his right hand in the war. These works blend tradition and innovation with intense dramatic tension, challenging the performers' skills and offering the audience a profound musical experience.
