Changhua County (彰化縣) History Permanent Special Exhibition
Local Affairs, Hometown History:
In recent years, with the rise of local cultural awareness, everyone has begun to pay attention to their hometown's affairs, caring about its history and geographical environment, and further collecting and promoting the county's history and culture. Based on this, the Bureau replanned and renovated the original historical records room, gave it more functions, and renamed it the County History Museum. It reopened in January 1999 (Year 88 of the Republic), aiming to provide a good environment for the public, researchers, and students who want to know the history and culture of the county.
Documentary Reference Area:
This area mainly collects documentary materials of the county, such as books, old photos, ancient documents, and ancient maps, providing a good place for the public and researchers to consult data, while also serving as a place for local education for schools at all levels in the county. However, the materials in this area are for in-house reading and cannot be lent out for reference.
Exhibition Area:
In coordination with major events in the county's history or related historical documents (artifacts), local customs, etc., exhibitions are changed periodically.
Collection Area:
Mainly stores and collects ancient contracts, old photos, ancient artifacts, and manuscripts of arts and culture figures related to the county, providing a good preservation environment.
