【Permanent Exhibition】Arms and Armor Hall
The Arms and Armor Hall of the Chimei Museum (奇美博物館) is divided into two major exhibition areas: "European" and "Non-European". The "European" section introduces diverse and complex weapons by category and features a weaponry evolution gallery, displaying representative weapons from prehistoric times to the modern 19th century, presenting the concept of the overall historical progression of weaponry. The "Non-European" section is divided into more than ten different exhibition areas based on geographical location, such as China, Japan, Africa, India, and Persia, showcasing a rich variety of decorative styles and cultural characteristics.
