Chiu Wen-ying (邱文櫻) Solo Exhibition: "Between Fast and Slow: Chiu Wen-ying's Oil Paintings, Watercolors, and Sketches"

Oil painting carries repeated revisions and the accumulation of time, watercolor responds to the flow of light, shadow, and emotion, while sketching is an immediate perception of the world.
This exhibition presents the trajectory of my creation walking back and forth between long-term thinking and instantaneous perception through the juxtaposition of oil paintings, watercolors, and sketches, inviting viewers to enter a painting field composed of brushstrokes, colors, and breathing.
The core of this exhibition's curation is "Between Slow and Fast", focusing on the way painting is generated in different time scales—oil painting, watercolor, and sketching are not only differences in technique but also symbolize three states of seeing and thinking.
