Team Introduction

Jazz Piano, Arrangement | Hsu Yu-ying (許郁瑛)

Hsu Yu-ying (許郁瑛) is an award-winning Taiwanese jazz pianist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator. She has performed at music festivals and jazz clubs worldwide with renowned musicians such as Albert "Tootie" HEATH, Michael Philip MOSSMAN, and Taiwan's "King of Drums" Huang Jui-feng. In recent years, she has been involved in various cross-disciplinary music projects and appeared as a special guest artist in Asian pop queen A-Mei's ASMR World Tour.

Her third original album, "HAPPENED, HAPPENING 現在" released in 2017, won three awards at the 29th Golden Melody Awards. The following year, her piece "Chapter III: India, Italy and I" also won the "Best Composer (Instrumental)" award at the 30th Golden Melody Awards.

Her latest and fifth solo album, "In the Cave," blends her original compositions, improvised piano playing, and electronic music, showcasing her active exploration of sonic adventure.



Jazz Drums | Casper Han (韓家柏)

As a drummer, percussionist, singer, composer, and educator, Casper Han (韓家柏) is a versatile musician with a wide range of musical styles. His musical expertise spans sacred music, classical music, jazz, pop, ethnic music, and experimental music. Of French-German descent, he was born and raised in a classical music family in Munich, Germany. He initially studied violin and piano before switching to drums at the age of 9. In his early career, he performed with many renowned Bavarian jazz musicians, such as Paulo CARDOSO, Claus REICHSTALLER, Peter O'MARA, Karen EDWARDS, Leonid CHIZHIK, Christian ELSÄSSER, Thomas STABENOW, and Rocky KNAUER. While studying jazz at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, he also served as the drummer for the Bavarian Youth Jazz Orchestra and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Germany.



Double Bass | Ji An (紀安)

Ji An (紀安) is a Taiwanese-Dutch jazz bassist and composer. After graduating from high school, he went to the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the Netherlands, where he studied under Europe's most prominent jazz bassists, such as Frans van der HOEVEN and Clemens van der FEEN. He is also active in the Taiwanese jazz and pop music scenes, having collaborated with JJ Lin, 9m88, and YELLOW. Ji An earned his Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York in 2025, studying under bass masters Buster WILLIAMS and Jay ANDERSON. He is an emerging bassist in the New York jazz scene and has performed at top New York venues, including Ornithology and The Django.
