Founded in 2013, the group consists of three young musicians: Kuo Ching-mu (Guzheng), Pan Yi-tong (Ruan), and Ren Zhong (Dixiao). They are a rare creative chamber ensemble in Taiwan that uses classical foundations to construct contemporary musical thinking. In 2016, they were selected for the National Center for Traditional Arts' "Master-Disciple and Partner Project." In 2022, their album "Evolution" won the Best Crossover Music Album at the 33rd Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, and received a Bronze Award at the "2022 Global Music Awards." In 2025, they won "Best Live Program" at the Europe Music Video Awards.
In 2026, they received three nominations at the 9th California Music Video & Film Awards in the US: "Best World Music Video," "Best Instrumental Jazz/Classical Music Video," and "Best Live Music Performance Video."
They have toured China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India, Germany, France, and Canada. In 2024, they were invited to perform at the "Cultural Olympiad" in Paris. In 2025, they became the first officially selected team to represent Taiwan on the stage of the World Music Expo (WOMEX), the world's largest world music expo, sharing new sounds from Taiwan in Finland.
