"Daxi Old Neighbors" (大溪老厝邊) Police Dormitory Cluster Life Stories Permanent Exhibition

"Daxi Old Neighbors - Police Dormitory Life Story Exhibition" (大溪老厝邊-警察宿舍生活故事展) is an exhibition full of "home" and "people" elements. Located within a preserved police dormitory cluster, the exhibition uses the perspectives of police officers, original residents, and Daxi neighbors to look at the diversity and uniqueness of police duties in Daxi and their link with ordinary life. Oral memories are brought to life through lively illustrations, videos, and installation art, leading visitors into the living scenes and wonderful stories of the historic dormitory cluster.

The exhibition is divided into an introductory story animation of "Exploring Police Objects and Duties" (探索警物．警務) in the Ammunition Depot, "Neighbors' Police on Duty" (厝邊警察任務中) in the Welcome Hall, and "Life of Neighbor Police" (厝邊警察的生活) in the Living Room. This arrangement allows visitors to see the police system and settlement changes from the Japanese period to the post-war era, the various tasks of Daxi police, and the close interaction between the police families and the people of Daxi.
