Discovery Group Photography Exhibition (發現攝影聯展)
Instructor | Hou Hao (侯澔)
Exhibitors | Hou Hao (侯澔), Kung Chun-hao (龔俊豪), Tseng Hsi-tsun (曾晞村), Su Chen-chi (蘇振基), Wang Chia-jung (王家榮), Lin Tzu-hsiu (林子修), Tan Chung-ching (譚中清), Fang Mei-sha (方美紗), Wu Wen-ying (吳文英), Pan Shih-hsiu (潘施秀), Tsai Wei-fan (蔡瑋汎), Liu Wei-ju (劉葦如), Liu Yi-chun (劉怡君), Chen Hsiang-chun (陳香君)
With “Discovery” as its theme, this photography exhibition features 14 students from the “Discovery Photography Class” led by instructor Hou Hao (侯澔). The exhibition presents the encounter between photography and the soul, revealing the process of discovering beauty, which is also the greatest joy of photography. From “seeing” to “discovering,” it is a transition from the eye-to-object to the heart-to-environment. The works are not just captures of external scenery, but depictions of internal landscapes. Through these images, one can feel that beauty is all around us, omnipresent, and the true difference stems from our souls. By cultivating the mind through the lens, one can see through appearances to the essence, find the extraordinary in the ordinary, and ultimately discover one's unique self.
Over 70 works are expected to be exhibited, including thematic photography and individual creations, with a designated area for thematic photography: “A Grain of Rice, a Hundred Drops of Sweat” (一粒米百粒汗), “Prison” (獄), and “Zhongxing New Spring” (中興新春).
