Earnest Practice and Far-reaching Goals: Huang Chao-hsiang Calligraphy Joint Exhibition of Teachers and Students (篤行致遠-黃昭祥師生書法聯展)

"Earnest Practice and Far-reaching Goals" (篤行致遠) originates from the "Book of Rites: The Doctrine of the Mean" (《禮記．中庸》), meaning to achieve profound ideals through firm and steady action. The study of calligraphy values "earnest practice" (篤行) and "reaching far" (致遠). Students use ink and brush as their path, practicing incessantly by the pond, gradually moving from foundational skills to maturity, from form to spirit, striving for perfection. Under Teacher Huang Chao-hsiang's (黃昭祥) guidance through diligent study and practice, they not only hone their brushwork techniques but also realize the philosophy and cultivation inherent in calligraphy.
