Electromagnetic Vision 2.0: The Missing Scientists (電磁視界2.0:消失的科學家)
The park and Taiwan Power Company (台灣電力公司) have planned a brilliant power tower combined with electromagnetic science education. Accompanied by the opening of the "Electromagnetic Vision" special exhibition, it began taking everyone to explore the mysteries of electricity and magnetism on Christmas Eve 2017!
Why hold an electricity special exhibition in a park themed on earthquakes and geology? The main reason comes from the high-voltage power tower at the entrance. In the past, the public thought of high-voltage power towers as extremely dangerous facilities. Not only high-voltage electricity, but electromagnetic waves are even more frighteningly high. Therefore, many tourists are afraid and do not want to enter the park after seeing the high-voltage power tower at the entrance. But are the electromagnetic waves of high-voltage towers really so dangerous?
This special exhibition takes electricity and electromagnetic waves as the main axis, introducing domestic electricity use and electromagnetic waves. Through 85 electromagnetic wave monitoring stations, it actually measures and visualizes the power electromagnetic waves of the ultra-high voltage towers actually operating in the park, allowing the public to see the strength of electromagnetic waves with their own eyes. At the same time, many interactive exhibits are provided indoors and outdoors, where scientific knowledge of power, electromagnetism, and energy can be learned through play.
"Electromagnetic Vision 2.0: The Missing Scientists" opened for visits on January 1, 2023. This special exhibition focuses on the popular science communication of electricity and magnetism. The 2.0 updated version is built on the basis of the old version, with mysterious electromagnetic fields and atomic imagery as the entrance design.
