Fishery Artifacts Exhibition (漁業文物展)
Permanent Exhibition:
1. Model: A realistic model of a "Sea Hut" (海上寮舍) illustrates the landscape of intertidal clam farming. Fishermen utilize the 4-5 kilometer stretch of beach during low tide to set up Moso bamboo (孟宗竹) stakes and build these huts for guarding the area and providing shelter from wind and rain.
2. Fishery Artifacts: Most of the fishery artifacts and gear used in the past have been phased out. To commemorate the history of early fishery development, the gallery displays traditional fishing gear used in coastal fishing, such as fry buckets, fish covers, and baskets. There are also exhibition areas for fishing materials, navigation instruments, fishing methods, and common aquaculture tools.
3. Fish Specimens: Through displays of Oarfish (勒氏黃帶魚), economic fish specimens, and fish stamps, the exhibition aims to promote fishery education.
