Piazzolla's tango is like letters sent from the heart. The unspeakable past, loneliness, desire, pauses, and relief all come to life in the breath of the bandoneon. "Five Letters of Tango" uses "five letters" as a narrative axis, transforming music into emotional words, allowing the audience to feel five different embraces of life in every melody: a letter to the past, a letter to loneliness, a letter to desire, a letter to the heartbeat, and finally, a letter to one's relieved self.

These five letters are the rhythms of life's five embraces of tango.
