"Gratitude to Hakka (Chen-meng Hakka)" Permanent Exhibition at the Taiwan Hakka Museum (「承蒙客家」臺灣客家文化館常設展)

Date: 2026-01-01 — 2026-12-31 Organizer: (中華民國)客家委員會客家文化發展中心
This exhibition is based on the pre-exhibition research book "Chen-meng" (承蒙) as the curatorial theme. "Chen-meng" signifies the mutual respect and gratitude between the Hakka community and Taiwanese society. The visual identity uses the "H" from Hakka as an image, depicting two people "joining hands" to express the cultural spirit of mutual inclusion and creating a wonderful Formosa together; it also carries the meaning of "cupping hands" (拱手) in thanks, highlighting the theme "Gratitude to Hakka". The exhibition reinterprets Hakka culture from five perspectives: "Historical Hakka," "Global Hakka," "Everyday Hakka," "Cultural Hakka," and "Citizen Hakka." It aims to prove through this exhibition that Hakka is an indispensable part of Taiwan's multiculturalism, expressing the universal value that Taiwan nourished Hakka culture, and Hakka enriched Taiwanese culture.
