A spectacular drama blending myth, love, and adventure, depicting the touching romance between the poor but filial son "Liu Hai" and a "Fox Immortal" as they cross the boundaries between humans and demons. With the appearance of the Golden Toad and the clash between Buddhism and Taoism, good and evil are perpetually entwined. Liu Hai undergoes numerous trials, eventually turning danger into safety and transforming wealth into great love, conveying the most sincere spirit of loyalty and affection.
