Heptameron — Tsai Pou-Ching (蔡咅璟) Solo Exhibition

Date: 2026-04-25 — 2026-07-05
Artist Tsai Ling-ching's solo exhibition "Seven-Day Tales" begins with a deceased raccoon encountered in a New York park, weaving together the Taiwanese funeral ritual of "making seven" and the narrative structure of "Decameron" to examine the existence of animals in urban spaces. The exhibition includes the video work "Seven-Day Tales" and ceramic installations based on altered classic bird guides titled "The Birds of New York." These independent yet interconnected works collectively point towards a nature that is still in the process of formation.
