Have you ever seen rows of flickering LED numbers in images or books, looking like a starry sky, a heartbeat, or the pulse of time? That is the classic creation of the Japanese contemporary art master Tatsuo Miyajima (宮島達男)! 🙌
The internationally renowned Japanese new media art pioneer Tatsuo Miyajima's first museum solo exhibition in Taiwan! His classic works use cycles of numbers 1–9, notably excluding "0," symbolizing that life never stops and flows forever. This time, under the concept of "Human Life as Collective Experience," everyone is invited to step into a universe where light and numbers intertwine and feel the pulse of life's interconnectedness.

Miyajima's spatial installations will not only allow everyone to rediscover the architectural space designed by Tadao Ando (安藤忠雄), but also represent an unprecedented "collective co-creation" exhibition with Taiwan and Wufeng!
Students, community elders, and children have enriched the flickering rhythm of the numbers in Miyajima's works through random dials and creations full of life stories and imagination; every point of light hides the rhythm of a different life. 🌌
In an era of global environmental change, pandemics, and wars, Miyajima's works remind us once again: life is not isolated, but a network of mutual dependence and influence.
This is the first exhibition of the "Contemporary Masters Series" launched after the transformation of the Asia University Museum of Modern Art!
