筆墨洄瀾 Ink Hualien - Tseng Hsing-te (曾興德) and Hualien County Calligraphy Association Elite Joint Exhibition

Date: 2026-02-20 — 2026-03-22 Organizer: (中華民國)曾興德
Participating calligraphers besides Tseng Hsing-te (曾興德) include Wang Ding-zhi (王鼎之), Yu Guo-qiang (余國強), You Feng-yu (游豐裕), Peng Ming-de (彭明德), Wang Jun-yi (王俊義), Xie Ming-sheng (謝明生), Tseng Yuan-feng (曾鴛鳳), Cai Guo-chang (蔡國昌), Jiang Xiu-qin (姜秀琴), Wang Qing-xiang (王慶祥), and more. Each work is full of spiritual beauty, integrating poetry, calligraphy, and painting. The fusion of calligraphy and painting with the atmosphere of ancient poetry makes the works contain "painting within poetry and poetry within painting." It is well worth appreciating and learning from. Everyone is welcome to visit.\r\nMr. Tseng Hsing-te is a Hakka from Yuli (玉里), and his family speaks Hailu Hakka. His ancestors who came to Taiwan originally lived in Dahu, Miaoli (苗栗大湖), and later moved to the Zhudong (竹東) and Guanxi (關西) areas. During the Japanese colonial period, his grandfather took his uncles and father by boat to Hualien (花蓮), where they settled in Eastern Taiwan.\r\nMr. Tseng Hsing-te currently serves as the chairman of the Hualien County Calligraphy Association. The association's predecessor was the Hualien Branch of the Chinese Calligraphy Association, established on June 11, 1967. Its purpose is the inheritance of calligraphy, and it spares no effort in promoting Chinese cultural essence: assisting in the promotion of calligraphy education, evaluating calligraphy works, holding calligraphy exhibitions, and encouraging young people to practice calligraphy to promote Chinese culture, stimulate patriotic sentiments, and expand international calligraphy art and cultural exchanges.
