【Ki cacepeliw: From Across the Sea, Welcome Home—Special Exhibition of Paiwan Century-old Artifacts from the National Museums of World Culture, Sweden Returning to Shizi Township】
Co-organized by the Shizi Township Office of Pingtung County, the National Museums of World Culture (Sweden), and the National Taiwan Museum.
This exhibition focuses on Southern Paiwan artifacts collected by the National Museums of World Culture in Sweden. Through in-depth research of tribal historical documents and cross-border museum cooperation, it delicately depicts the moving journey of artifacts returning home from a foreign land.
The exhibition title "Ki cacepeliw" is taken from the Southern Paiwan language, meaning "return." It not only echoes the journey of the artifacts returning home across the sea but also symbolizes these historical treasures returning to their cultural homeland, allowing the tribal people to reclaim their past memories and identity together.
