Lukang (鹿港) Folk Artifacts Collection Exhibition

Date: 2026-01-01 — 2026-12-31 Organizer: (中華民國)鹿港民俗文物館
The museum collects many local artifacts from Lukang (鹿港), including over 6,000 items of daily necessities from the Qing Dynasty to the early years of the Republic. About 3,000 of these are calligraphy, paintings, and artifacts donated by local elders in Lukang. The first floor of the exhibition hall displays: documentary images, clothing and accessories, theatrical musical instruments, and religious ritual items. The second floor features: the Koo (辜) family bedroom, an international conference hall, a guest reception hall with Taishi (太師) chairs, a daughter's bedroom, dining utensils, and calligraphy, painting, and documentary materials. There is also a 200-year-old traditional Fujian-style building called "Gufeng Building" (古風樓). It is currently a private folk artifact museum and has not been donated to the government. At that time, Secretary Koo Lien-ching (辜濂清, 1984) and Advisor Ting Kuo-fu (丁國富) hand-drew several logo designs for the museum, totaling seven; the current logo on the museum's envelopes and business cards was hand-drawn by Koo Lien-ching.
