Performer Introduction

Organist|Jason Akeman

Holding a Master's and Doctorate in Organ from the Juilliard School, Jason Akeman is an outstanding international soloist and accompanist who has performed throughout Europe, America, Asia, and the Caribbean. Since 2004, he has served as organist and music director in several churches in the northeastern United States. He has recorded multiple solo and collaborative albums. Since 2012, he has been an invited guest of the Taiwan Church Music Ministry Association, holding concerts, workshops, and masterclasses in Taipei. Since moving to Taiwan with his Taiwanese wife in 2022, Jason Akeman has been involved in many concerts and has held workshops specifically designed for church pianists and organists. He is currently the resident organist at Taiwan Theological Seminary and an assistant professor in the Department of Church Music.
