Living in Kobe (神戶), Hiroko Watanabe (渡邊博子) accidentally discovers Itsuki Fujii's (藤井樹) junior high school graduation album on the anniversary of his death in a mountain accident. Following the old address in Hokkaido (北海道), Hiroko sends a letter to express her longing for Itsuki, only to have it reach a woman with the exact same name. Since its release in 1995, "Love Letter" (情書) has become a classic in the hearts of countless people. Miho Nakayama (中山美穗) gave the character soul with her delicate acting, making it her most representative work.
