Miaoli County (苗栗縣) 114th Academic Year Quanta 'Inspired by Art' (廣達《游於藝》) - 'Singing Insects Exhibition: Insect Orchestra' (鳴蟲特展-蟲蟲大樂團) Touring Exhibition

This special exhibition was planned and launched by the National Museum of Natural Science (國立自然科學博物館) and the National Museum of Natural Science Foundation (自然科學博物館教育基金會). The exhibition is themed 'Insect Songs' (蟲鳴) and includes 'What are Singing Insects' (什麼是鳴蟲), 'Insect Orchestra' (蟲蟲大樂團), 'Singing Insects and Humanity' (鳴蟲與人文), 'Insect Music Feast' (昆蟲的音樂宴), and 'Little Sentinels of the Ecological Environment' (生態環境的小小尖兵). It approaches the subject from three aspects: biology, culture, and art, introducing more than 100 species of insects, allowing children and the public to see how insects communicate with sound and understand their important role in the environment and ecology.
