Held every Friday morning, the 'Needles are Great! (針ㄉ好棒) Handmade Creative Art' workshop features community handicraft expert Grandma Leaf (Yeh Hui-hsi 葉惠喜) invited to the Gushan Branch Library. She teaches community mothers various secret techniques for deconstructing and reusing old clothes or yarn, using different tools like crochet needles, knitting needles, hand sewing needles, and machine needles to create unique creative works.
