My Bamboo Weaving World - Chen Xiu-luan Bamboo Weaving Exhibition (我的竹編世界-陳秀鸞竹編展)

Through this exhibition, the public can understand that bamboo weaving products are no longer limited to daily utensils. They can be elegant vases for floral arrangements, adding an artistic feel to the living environment. Following teacher Hsu Min-sheng (徐暋盛) to learn bamboo weaving, in order to break away from traditional bamboo products, the current direction is towards bamboo weaving creation. The works recording the learning and creation process include daily life items such as fruit plates, tea trays, tea scoops, daily handbags, and vases. Combining traditional techniques with installation, artistry, lacquer art techniques, and molding, and using raw lacquer, dyeing, and variable coating to increase the different styles of the works, bamboo weaving is no longer limited to tradition.
