Neiwei Arts Center Inaugural Exhibition | Once within Borders (解惟．解圍)

"Neiwei Arts Center" (內惟藝術中心), a new type of art center opened from Neiwei to the city. Through interaction with diverse art experiences, it initiates a new urban cultural pattern of "Living Art · Artistic Life." In this space, through community-oriented dialogic art, contemporary images and classic films, art restoration and consultation, a public life and aesthetic space for parent-child interaction and co-learning is developed. With the three spirits of "cross-domain, cross-generation, and cross-ethnic" (Cross, Light, New), it integrates various possibilities to realize an art experience without boundaries or barriers, opening up the imagination and practice of a new type of artistic life.

The inaugural exhibition is titled "Once within Borders" (解惟‧解圍), meaning "unfolding the fences and embracing Neiwei." Through the dialogue between history and the present, from the opening of cultural spaces, the reshaping of public fields, to the re-reading of local community historical textures, the Neiwei Arts Center will play a key role in "community stitching," forming new urban landscapes and cultural sceneries, and moving towards a new vision of open connection. The inaugural exhibition consists of three core concepts: "Dialogue between Art and Space," "Community Participatory Creation," and "Incorporating Design Thinking." It attempts to define new possibilities for space through artworks, shaping new common experiences for residents through diverse art viewing and participation models, combining with the community environment and becoming integrated into the lives of citizens.
