nutjaivililj: The Future of the Future

Date: 2026-01-01 — 2026-11-16 Organizer: (中華民國)原住民族委員會原住民族文化發展中心
Do you know what "nutjaivililj" means in the Paiwan language? And what kind of "after" is the "future of the future"?
"nutjaivililj" in the Paiwan language refers to the "future" or "after," but it also carries the meaning of "behind" in terms of time sequence. The wisdom hidden in the tribal language is that past history unfolds in front of us, influencing and driving the future behind us—the "after." It reminds us to learn from past experiences and step "backward" into the future!
The permanent exhibition "nutjaivililj: The Future of the Future" (nutjaivililj 以後的以後) at the Indigenous Culture Park Museum has finally opened grandly on November 16, 2024, after years of rich energy accumulated by the people! We sincerely invite you to step into the time tunnel of "nutjaivililj: The Future of the Future" and see various cultures still shining bright after the turbulence of the times in this rich and exciting exhibition venue.
