"Original Echoes" Holiday Arts and Cultural Performance at Atayal Indigenous Cultural Industrial Zone: Dance Performance by Saicel Indigenous Art Group (原住民saicel藝術團)

The Miaoli County Government has carefully planned the "Original Echoes" Holiday Arts and Cultural Performance series to enrich the cultural essence of its two indigenous museums, attract public attention to the diversity of indigenous culture, and drive the development of the tourism and leisure industry.
This year's arts and cultural performances center around the theme "Original Echoes." "Original" represents the unique indigenous dances, music, and songs that carry history and culture, while "Echoes" signifies the hope of promoting indigenous culture through artistic performances to generate a response. The use of the character "Hui" (迴) also conveys the meaning of rotation and cycle, symbolizing the continuity and heritage of indigenous music, dance, songs, and art.
The holiday arts and cultural performances at the Atayal Museum in Tai'an Township will run from February 7 to December 26, 2026. Indigenous groups or bands will perform one session every Saturday starting at 2:20 PM, totaling 46 sessions. Additionally, from February 8 to December 27, street performers will perform one session on the second and fourth Sunday mornings of each month starting at 10:00 AM, totaling 24 sessions. During the period from February 17 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) to February 22 (the sixth day of the Lunar New Year), one group performance will be arranged daily in the morning and afternoon, for a total of 80 sessions throughout the entire event.
