Permanent Exhibition of Former Dinglinzi-bian Police Station (原頂林仔邊警察官吏派出所常設展)
The Former Dinglinzi-bian Police Station (原頂林仔邊警察官吏派出所) exhibits the history, industry, and lifestyle of Linyuan (林園), presenting the cultural connotations and characteristics of Linyuan to help visitors understand its various aspects and achieve cultural education benefits. The exhibition content is as follows:
Area A: Development Process of this Historical Building: Includes stories of the old house, the police system during the Japanese colonial period, and old photo displays.
Area B: Linyuan District Guide: Uses a large map of Linyuan District to introduce cultural attractions, important centers of faith, industries, ecological leisure, and educational institutions. It also showcases the cultural connotations of the Fengbitou Site (鳳鼻頭遺址), the oldest national archaeological site representing Linyuan's history, along with images of Linyuan Old Street, cultural and creative products from various communities in Linyuan, and multimedia facilities at the service desk.
Area C: Linyuan Legends: This area focuses on Linyuan's literature, history, and residential life characteristics. The exhibition includes the legendary story of Lin Banxian (林半仙), ancestral hall names in the Linyuan area, the Dachen Refugee Village (大陳義胞村), the historical building Linyuan Gangpu Huang Family Ancestral House (林園港埔黃家古厝), and military facilities such as the former Japanese army combat tunnels at Qingshuiyan (清水巖).
