Resplendent Elegance—2026 Nantou County Rumo Calligraphy Association Member Group Exhibition 璀璨風華—115年南投縣濡墨書法學會會員聯展

The "Nantou County Rumo Calligraphy Association Member Group Exhibition," curated by the Nantou County Rumo Calligraphy Association, will be held from February 25 to March 15, 2026, at the 2nd and 3rd floor galleries of the Taoyuan Municipal Government Cultural Affairs Bureau. This marks the first time the association has exhibited in Taoyuan, featuring around 80 works by calligraphy masters and emerging artists from Nantou.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for March 1 (Sunday) at 2:00 PM at the 2nd floor gallery of the Taoyuan Municipal Government Cultural Affairs Bureau. We sincerely invite citizens and calligraphy lovers to attend this elegant gathering of ink and brush.
The name "Rumo" (濡墨) is derived from the idiom "Xiang Ru Yi Mo" (相濡以沫, supporting each other in times of need). The association's motto "Xiang Ru Yi Mo" (相濡以墨, supporting each other with ink) symbolizes members honing their skills together on the path of calligraphy art. Although established in 2023 as an emerging group, its members consist of many award-winning artists. The exhibition includes various formats like central scrolls, hanging scrolls, couplets, and fan surfaces, covering styles from ancient seal and clerical scripts to dignified regular, running, and cursive scripts.
Participating members include renowned calligraphers such as Huang Chao-hsiang (winner of the Nanying and Dadun Awards), Lin Ying-sheng, and Chi Kuan-ti. Their diverse styles bring the essence of Nantou's calligraphy to Taoyuan, fostering exchange and fulfilling the artistic spirit of "supporting each other with ink."
