Seeing Your Seeing — Expert Guided Tour of "The Garden Fortress of Von Wolfe" (馮‧沃爾夫的花園堡壘) (Wu Yi-fang (吳奕芳))
Seeing Your Seeing — Expert Guided Tour of "The Garden Fortress of Von Wolfe" (馮‧沃爾夫的花園堡壘)
British artist Von Wolfe's (馮.沃爾夫) first major exhibition in Asia, "The Garden Fortress of Von Wolfe" (馮.沃爾夫的花園堡壘), brings together over 60 works spanning nearly 20 years of the artist's career. The exhibition features two main themes: "Floating World Convergence — Resonance of Hybrid Aesthetics" and "Masterpiece Concerto — Homage to Classics from the Cultural Gene Pool." Starting from Von Wolfe's early works that blend Picasso and Ukiyo-e styles, it extends to his reinterpretation of classical masters like Da Vinci and Rembrandt. Through visual collage and cross-cultural appropriation, the artist rearranges classic images from art history and reproduces them using oil painting techniques. The third theme, "AI Co-creation Series — Von Wolfe's Re-evolution," presents the brilliant results of Von Wolfe's collaboration with AI in recent years. He trained AI to absorb the visual structures and linguistic feel of his own creations; after generating images, he delicately repaints them with oil techniques, developing a unique aesthetic that fuses brushstrokes with algorithmic logic.
"Seeing Your Seeing — Expert Guided Tour of 'The Garden Fortress of Von Wolfe' (馮‧沃爾夫的花園堡壘)" invites you to travel through the worlds of different experts and scholars to see their vision.
