Silent Sound · The Other Shore

A special 7th-anniversary exhibition by Kungkuan's "The Misanthrope Society (厭世會社)," using the last words of seven writers and cultural figures such as San Mao (三毛), Virginia Woolf, Ernest Hemingway, Ryunosuke Akutagawa (芥川龍之介), and Leslie Cheung (張國榮) as clues to create an immersive dark sensory journey. Audience members enter an underground space with flashlights, reading 2,000 anonymous suicide letters word by word, and can taste seven limited-edition literary-themed cocktails, blurring the boundaries between bar, bookstore, and exhibition.
