《Song of the Mother Earth》
《Song of the Mother Earth》 Concert. Between the rhythm of nature and the pulse of the soul, 《Song of the Mother Earth》 serves as a bridge, connecting the emotions of teachers, students, parents, and the public, showcasing the achievements of music education cultivated by Waldorf Earth Experimental Education School (華德福大地實驗教育學校) over the years. From the innocence of childhood to the high spirits of youth, from the warmth of family to the resonance of the community, all flow with brilliance in melody and harmony.
The program features multi-layered performance forms, presenting the imagery of "The Passing of Four Seasons, the Rhythm of Life":
🎶 Flute Ensemble 〈Luna's Magic Flute〉—— Leading the audience into a world of fantasy and poetry, showcasing the delicate tone and tacit understanding of the Earth students.
🎶 Junior High Ensemble 〈Orpheus in the Underworld〉, 〈Disney Medley〉—— A vibrant contrast blending classical and pop, symbolizing the infinite creativity of young minds.
🎶 Senior High Ensemble 〈Spring Everywhere in the Mountains〉, 〈O Sole Mio〉, 〈River of the Heart〉—— Depicting the passion of youth and the maturity of inner emotions.
🎶 Grand Ensemble 〈I Will Follow Thee〉—— Uniting the intentions of all teachers and students, walking together in music.
This concert is produced by founders Dr. Hsu Tzu-miao (許姿妙) and Dr. Chen Chun-feng (陳俊峰), along with Principal Li Yi-ta (李怡達).
Conductors include Chang Ching-hsi (張菁曦) (Senior High Ensemble), Huang Yu-chia (黃禹嘉) (Middle School Ensemble), and Huang Shan-sheng (黃善聖) (Parent-Child Flute Ensemble). Guest soprano Chen Ai-ling (陳靄齡) and storyteller Hsiung Pei-yi (熊珮詒) are invited to perform together, with Chang Ching-hsi (張菁曦) and Huang Yi-ning (黃怡寧) as piano collaborators, and Tang Ting-yen (湯定諺) as harp collaborator, collectively creating a warm and profound musical feast.
