Special Exhibition Hall 3 (Children's Museum): Let's Play in Hakka Villages - Exploring Hakka Village Life Wisdom and Festivals (第三特展室(兒童館):客庄遊樂去-探索客庄生活智慧及節慶生活)
The Children's Museum of the Taiwan Hakka Museum focuses on "Let's Play in Hakka Villages," exploring Hakka village life wisdom and festival culture. The exhibition area is divided into six zones: "Hakka Food Arena," "Lei Cha (Pounded Tea) DIY," "Hakka Dragon VR Experience," "Land Life Area," "Farming and Reading Area," and "Fairy Tale Secret Base."
Among them, "Hakka Food Arena" and "Lei Cha DIY" are open for experience; children and adults are welcome to challenge them together.
"Hakka Food Arena" uses touch tablets and interactive wall projection technology to present 25 classic Hakka dishes through a game, including "Four Braised and Four Stir-fried," rice-based foods, pickled foods, etc., helping visitors understand the Hakka spirit of frugality, reverence for nature, and hospitality, as well as the unique flavors of Hakka cuisine.
"Lei Cha DIY" uses a virtual touch table DIY mode. Through a simple and fun grinding game process, visitors can learn about the Lei Cha production process from raw materials to finished products, getting to know this unique Hakka tea culture.
Anyone holding a Hakka Theater admission ticket can experience VR games for free in the Third Special Exhibition Hall (Children's Museum). Children's Museum activity schedule:
