Splendid Silence - Lu Jung-kuo (盧榮國) Oil Painting Exhibition

Lu Jung-kuo grew up in Zhushan, Nantou, and received his artistic enlightenment from teachers Lo Chao-ling and Liao Chun-hsi. Nurtured by the town's rich cultural history and natural scenery, his subjects range from rural cottages and bamboo forests to mountain clouds and the vast sea. This exhibition, twenty years in the making, is a dialogue between the painter's perception of nature, environmental reflection, and his inner soul. Immersed in the mountains and fields, one feels the beauty of the seasons. Every captivating vista brings one back to inner peace, and every exquisite landscape inspires awe at the changes and impermanence of creation. Through his brush, he faithfully reproduces the beauty and tranquility of his heart, allowing viewers to feel the radiant reality of existence while reflecting the silent light and pure land within. No language or thought is required; all is felt through the direct heart.
