[Sunday Afternoon Concert 186] Classical Jazz Style—Shuh-Jiun Jiang (江淑君) Flute Recital

What sparks fly when elegant classical meets modern jazz? Flutist Shuh-Jiun Jiang (江淑君) will lead everyone into a "musical multiverse" with agile whistling, breaking musical boundaries and showcasing the humor, romance, and passion of 21st-century music!

This concert focuses on "fusion" and features a selection of cross-over masterpieces:

Jazz Charm: Rosenblatt's "Carmen Fantasy" plays with the classic with agile rhythms.

Local Narratives: Jiang Wen-ye's (江文也) "Formosa Dance" depicts pastoral sentiments; Ruei-Ran Wu's (吳睿然) "Great Reunion" skillfully blends the flavor of Hakka Bayin.

Dreamy Narratives: From Villa-Lobos's Brazilian suites to the French romance of the Boulanger sisters, weaving a brilliant auditory feast.
