Date: 2026-03-08 Organizer: (中華民國)臺中律師公會薩克斯風樂團、臺中律師公會合唱團、隘口樂集、薩克魅音薩克斯風重奏團
In the spring of March, a musical feast combining the elegance of wind instruments and the warmth of vocals—"Harmonious Law & Resounding Zhongshan"—is about to grandly debut at Taichung Chung Shan Hall (台中中山堂).
This concert brings together a saxophone band and a choir composed of professionals, showcasing the performers' pursuit of art and life aesthetics outside their busy professional fields.
【Program Highlights】 The repertoire spans classical, pop, folk, and anime film soundtracks, presenting diverse and rich auditory layers:
• Poetic Vocals and Instruments: The Taichung Bar Association Saxophone Band (臺中律師公會薩克斯風樂團) will open with the classic "I Could Have Danced All Night"; the Taichung Bar Association Choir (臺中律師公會合唱團) will perform "When the World Quiets Down" (世界恬靜落來的時) and "The Joy of Snowflakes" (雪花的快樂), leading listeners into a serene and romantic spiritual kingdom through poetic melodies.
• Crossover Performance: The two groups will join hands to perform the deeply moving "A Sprig of Plum" (一剪梅) and the majestic "Ancient Path of Today's Mountains" (今山古道).
• Hakka and Local Flavors: Through the interpretation of the saxophone, Hakka classics such as "Water Falling from the Sky" (天空落水), "Peach Blossoms Bloom" (桃花開), and "The True Color of Hakka" (客家本色) will show new vitality and strong land emotions.
• Japanese Classic Tour: The second half of the concert will move to the fantasy world of animation, performing suites from "Princess Mononoke" (魔法公主), "Spirited Away" (神隱少女), and "Merry-Go-Round of Life" (人生的旋轉木馬). Revisit the dreamlike melodies of Master Joe Hisaishi in rich rhythms.
This is not only a music presentation but also a resonance of crossover professional spirit. On March 8, we sincerely invite you to visit Taichung Chung Shan Hall (台中中山堂) and immerse yourselves in the brilliant moments of flowing notes.
