Tainan Music Ensemble (台南樂集) Refinement Series – "Dan · Yin (丹 · 音)" 2026 Huang Dan-ying (黃丹櫻) Yangqin and Composition Concert
"Dan · Yin (丹 · 音)" is named after "Dan-ying (丹櫻)" and "Dan-yin (單音 - Monologue)", connecting ancient and modern with crossover elements, presenting the diverse facets of the yangqin.

This concert features a selection of classic and contemporary works, from the poetic and melodious "Autumn (秋)" and the deeply moving "Zhaojun's Lament (昭君怨)", to the "Rhapsody (狂想曲)" which blends jazz and classical elements. It also brings two Taiwan premieres—"Listening to the Waves (聽瀾)" depicting the poetic imagery of whispering waves, and "Ascension (升騰)" symbolizing the soaring power of the Year of the Dragon. The new creation "Yq+S4" demonstrates the fluid layers of yangqin and string quartet, while "Dan-yin (單音)" titled "Monologue" depicts the power of inner critical thinking and moving forward.
